Hello! I'm Johnny Lemoine, an architect, artist, packaging and graphic designer.
I have consciously avoided a formulaic approach to each one of my projects, believing instead that each piece of work must grow out of the special animating identity of that organization – its history, environment, and culture. Whether that be a building, a wine bottle, or a coffee table, I believe that each design must carry a beautiful story and concept.
I’ve been accruing a broad range of experience throughout the years, and have been having a ton of fun along the way. From transforming workplace environments for Google and venture capitalists in the Bay Area through architecture and creative wayfinding, to designing affordable multi-family housing and tons of packaging design work, each of the projects I work on are infused with unique and creative perspectives.
Although I have seven years of experience in it, it's not just architecture that I'm insanely passionate about. I also harbor a passion for illustration, graphic, packaging, and furniture design. I tend to celebrate these throughout architecture, often times through large-scale murals, creative wayfinding graphics, and sophisticated details, yet I take these architectural notions back into those other areas of design.
As a Boston native, I earned my BFA in Architecture at Mass. College of Art + Design before relocating to Eugene to achieve a Master of Architecture in sustainable design at the University of Oregon. Further experience was gathered in England, focusing on commercial and retail design, before moving to the Bay Area six years ago.
